Description
This workshop will give you a solid bases for diagnosing and confidently reporting all neck emergencies in adult and children. Emergency radiologist and neck expert Fausto Labruto will go through anatomy and pathophysiology tips and tricks in a series of short lectures, complementing them with numerous case demonstrations.
The neck is a notoriously difficult district and emergency scans of the neck can cause anxiety even in seasoned radiologists, during the workshop you will learn all you need to know to feel comfortable in front of an emergency CT scan of the neck, whatever the clinical query.
This workshop is open to general radiologists.
Online workshops are recorded so that participants can review on their own time following the training.

Programme will include
- Cross-sectional anatomy of the neck (the “dreaded” spaces made easy). Common and less common presentations in the acutely ill patient, adult as well as child. Special techniques and methods. Reporting emergency neck CT: a systematic approach. Avoiding mistakes in emergency neck radiology. Each topic is complemented by case demonstrations
- Access to all workshop materials via the TMC Academy platform
- Certificate of attendance - An application has been made to the UEMS/EBR for CME accreditation of this event
