Description

During this fellowship CT/MR technique as well as the different pathologies of the liver will be shown, in an interactive way, trying to illustrate the best technique according to the different clinical fields. Special emphasis will be given to CT and MR, especially liver specific MR contrast media. Pathologies will be shown either in the hepatic parenchyma either in the biliary context. Diagnosis, differential diagnosis, staging and assessment of therapeutic response will be illustrated.

Technical requirements

The training platform runs entirely in the browser but the online PACS places a considerable load on the hardware and internet connection when viewing and loading cases.

Lecturers

  • Giovanni Morana M.D.

Director of the Radiological Department at General Hospital in Treviso (Italy), a 1000 beds hospital which covers a large population area, after a long experience at the University of Verona. His main field of interest are hepatic and pancreatic imaging, either with CT and especially MRI. He has been focused on clinical application of CT and MR contrast media since the beginning of his experience. He is a recognized expert in these topics, and has been lecturing in many international meetings, especially ECR and ESGAR, but also at ISMRM, ESMRMB. He has been invited speaker in China, Australia, South Africa, Kuwait, Oman, Hong Kong and many European countries. He is President of ICIS 2019.
