Musculoskeletal MRI Fellowship – Lower extremity
The purpose of this short online fellowship is to discuss different common MSK topics and start practising immediately by reading selected cases together with the mentor. The lower extremity module discusses the hip, knee, ankle and foot. The selected cases for reading are from our own teaching file and allow the participant to practice with common cases that may appear in your daily worklist.

Description

The MSK fellowship that TMC academy offers includes an overview of the hip, knee, ankle and foot in three consecutive 4-hour sessions in the late afternoon and early evening. There is another short online fellowship covering the upper extremity.

Every day two lectures of approximately one hour will supply you with knowledge that you consecutively apply during the case reading session with group case discussion. In the communal case reading session we will use a reporting template to help you navigate and write adequate reports.

In this fellowship with a limited number of 15 radiologists you will enhance and strengthen your own and each other’s knowledge in structured musculoskeletal MRI reading. With the use of Zoom platform, interactivity will be established and the use of a webcam is encouraged to enhance the creation of a virtual reading room. After the reading session together you keep access to the cases.

If this online short fellowship has been successful it has provided you with knowledge that can help you address your normal clinical challenges, as well as future pursuits. At the end of the program you will be able to identify and report on common Musculoskeletal MRI and pathology in daily practice without difficulty.

Learning Objectives
  • Upgrade your knowledge of the hip, knee, ankle and foot through dedicated lectures.
  • Become familiar and feel confident with basic and early advanced MSK pathology as encountered in daily practice through knowledge and case reading sessions
