Description

This online pediatric radiology course Fetal MRI From Head To Toe will provide participants with the knowledge to perform a conclusive fetal MRI examination. Also to know the steps of normal organ development at the respective gestational age and to be able to recognize deviations from normal organ development.

Each module starts with a lecture. After the lecture, you will be challenged with practising on real anonymised key cases. After and during the individual case readings there will be plenty of time for group discussion and Q&A with Prof. Prayer.

1️⃣ Day 1: Lectures on basic and advanced methods of fetal MRI, and normal organ development ( brain and extracerebral).
2️⃣ Day 2: Lectures on head and neck, thorax, and abdominal pathologies.
3️⃣ Day 3: Lectures on brain malformations ( disorders of cortical development, commissural abnormalities, infratentorial abnormalities) acquired brain disease and spine malformations.

TMC Academy online fellowships are held in a virtual classroom Zoom. You are encouraged to engage in discussions using their camera and microphone to recreate the face-to-face experience. In this small group environment among your peers, you are free to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn together with the support of the radiologist mentor.
