Description
During this neuroradiology course, we will discuss typical imaging patterns of most common types of dementia including Alzheimer Dementia, Vascular Dementia, Frontotemporal Dementia, Dementia with Lewy Bodies, normal pressure hydrocephalus.
The fellow will understand the overlapping and mixed neurodegenerative diseases as we will discuss typical imaging patterns of movement disorders, including Parkinson disease and atypical parkinsonian syndromes.
Each session will start with a lecture. After the lecture you will be challenged with practicing on real-life anonymised key cases from the TMC Academy teaching file. Reporting templates including recognized standardized rating scales will be used to help write adequate reports.
The individual case readings will be followed by Dr. Sven Haller's interpretations, questions, and comments, along with a group discussion.
TMC Academy online radiology fellowships are held in a virtual classroom environment on Zoom. Participants are encouraged to engage in discussions making use of their camera and microphone in order to recreate the face-to-face experience.
In this small group environment among your peers, you are free to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn together with the support of the radiologist mentor.
This neuroradiology fellowship is organised by TMC Academy, an EACCME Trusted Provider.
Testimonials:
"Excellent course from the first class expert ready available to answer your questions." Robert Prejs TMC (Fellow, June 2024)
"The fellowship has been of great value for me to review classifications of brain atrophy and distinguish among the different possible aetiologies. Moreover, I've learned more about MR protocols and sequences, as SWI, and this kind of knowledge is always very helpful on my daily practice. Presentations by Dr Haller were of high level and he was always answering our questions and doubts with his practical point of view." Dr Alcaraz, Neuroradiologist, Spain. (Fellow, June 2024)
