Description
This course is as far as we are aware unique in the sense that it focuses on practical aspects of MRI in order to best prepare a radiologist before tumor board meeting. This course will not only cover typical questions that are normally asked by the multidisciplinary team but also encourages radiologists to introduce new ideas that clinicians are unaware that the radiologist can answer them.
The course will have didactic lecture followed closely by a large amount of time dedicated to case discussions and interactive sessions.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
• 1st objective: what the surgeons and oncologists want to know before treatment starts
• 2nd objective: how can we inform the surgeon and oncologist of tumor response and surgical planning after treatment
• 3rd objective. How can MRI help us in screening for cancers, especially in regard to recent concerns about gadolinium deposition
