TMC Academy Fellowship Programme är riktat till den enskilde radiologen som önskar fördjupa sig inom ett subspecialicerat område. Kursdeltagaren kommer att handledas av en subspecialiserad radiolog med omfattande erfarenhet av granskning och undervisning inom radiologi.

Kursdeltagaren kommer att gynnas av en subspecialiserad radiolog med en omfattande erfarenhet av rapportering och undervisning inom radiologi.
Syftet med kursen är att tillhandahålla personligt anpassad träning för deltagaren via ett interaktivt program med skuggning av mentorn, såväl som rapportering av undersökningar i en miljö baserad på ”learn-by-doing” med ögonblicklig feedback från mentorn.
Deltagaren kommer att ha tillgång till TMC Academy bildarkiv och videoföredrag såväl som rekommenderad litteratur via mentorn.
Avslutningsvis utfärdas en detaljerad verbal samt skriftlig rapport avseende den individuella deltagarens utveckling.
Innehåll:
Denna kurs hålls på svenska och syftar till att under 4 dagar hantera HRCT och interstitiella lungsjukdomar med fokus på mönsterigenkänning, fibros och dess differentialdiagnoser.
Kursen innehåller föreläsningar varvat med egna fall som deltagarna får arbeta med. Alla utlåtanden diskuteras sedan gemensamt i slutet av dagen.

Kursen pågår under 4 dagar; cirka 8 timmar per dag, innehållande en kombination av föreläsningar, egen rapportering samt diskussion av utlåtandena.

Dr Fredrik Ahlfors (MD) works part time at Telemedicine Clinic with focus on CT Thorax and HRCT. Together with colleague Carl Lamm, he has co-authored the book "HRCT – Pattern Recognition and Differential Diagnosis of the Lung Disease". Dr Fredrik Ahlfors is an active lecturer and has over the years done many courses in the field of HRCT and ILD.

Participant cancellation
For cancellations made up until 6 weeks prior to the course, the participant will be fully reimbursed.
For cancellations made after 6 weeks, TMC Academy offers a flexible transfer of paid registration fees, meaning that in the unfortunate event that an attendee cannot make it to Barcelona (for Covid-19 related reasons or other), they may simply transfer their credit to the next session (or to any combination of TMCA training programme(s) or subscriptions equivalent to the same price). Please note that this flexible transfer option is available until 1 day prior to the course.
Mentor/TMC cancellation
Considering the possibility of unforeseen circumstances leading to the cancellation of the training such as Covid-19, force majeure, or any other unforeseen events, registrants will have the option of flexible transfer or receiving a full reimbursement of the registration fee.
